Hope is a Homebound Wave
17•May•2024, A Tanka-a-Day of Hope
Dear Readers,
My wish is that you join me, and re-invite hope, joy, and a rebirth of your spirit into your life, every single day.
We are bombarded by experiences and images, news of atrocity, injustice, unrest. It is easy to let hope become a distant thing, to want to hide away and inure ourselves from senseless pain and suffering.
Let’s promise ourselves to be courageous. Let’s show up everyday, unbowed. More so than hope, let us audaciously, unapologetically be and do.
We are the hope and the impetus to action, if we allow ourselves to be.

dawn is a canvas pink-pearl tinted resplendent; life begins anew: this sky bears clouds, unruffled. yesterday’s rainstorm has passed.
Your "hope" is a very welcome addition to my morning. It is not a simple thing! reminders of hope...vital existence in the face of...New beginning to my day. With deep appreciation!!
