• First Place: Poem featured in Mayari Literature

• 2 Honorable Mentions: Recognized with snippets of their poem in a separate article in Mayari Literature

• Winners will be notified via email

Submission Deadline:

• Submission deadline: Friday, May 9, 2025

• No submission fee required

Submission Guidelines

• Send submissions to ipcpoeticpulse@gmail.com

• Theme: Hanging out with my favorite poet

• The poet must be a real person

• The poet can be dead or alive; famous or not

• The poet can be a friend or relative

• Length: Maximum word count 160 including title

• Format: Acceptable formats: typed in the email

• Submit only 2 poems

Eligibility

• Open to everyone

• No AI-generated poems allowed.

• Accepting only original pieces (No previously published pieces. Poems posted on any social media platform is considered as published)

Judging Criteria

• Creativity & Originality: Unique voice and fresh perspective.

• Emotional Impact: How well the poem connects with the reader.

• Use of Language: Strong word choice, rhythm, and poetic devices.

• Adherence to Theme

Rights & Permissions

• Writers retain copyright but grant non-exclusive rights for publication.
